Yes. CRX Loader supports ZIP extension packages and local packaged builds, making it useful for testing and offline extension workflows.

No. CRX Loader is not a CRX download mirror or scraper. It is designed for packages you already have or supported install URLs you choose.

Yes. When a package requests permissions that require user approval, CRX Loader shows the requested permissions before continuing.

If the package includes a popup page and it is supported by the loader workflow, CRX Loader can host the popup in its own container. If no popup exists, it shows a fallback view.

Yes. CRX Loader provides uninstall cleanup so you can remove package data and return to an empty workspace.

No. It is useful for developers and testers, but also for advanced Chrome users who already have CRX or ZIP extension packages and want a clearer install workflow.

No. CRX Loader does not sell user data and does not use data for advertising profiles.
